Matrix Shampoo Saved My Hair
Great hair starts in the shower.
So the shampoo itself is of a milky color with some pearl shine. It is thick and has a pleasant smell. I must note that it is quite concentrated so a small amount is enough to lather long hair. Therefore, even though it is on the pricey side, it will actually last you longer and help to save money.
Matrix Biolage Hydratherapie Hydrating shampoo actually starts working at the very second you apply it to your hair. It detangles hair during washing; in some cases you might not even need to apply a balm or conditioner after washing.
Unfortunately, this wasn’t my case back then, but after having cured my hair I use conditioner only once in a while because this hydrating shampoo is just enough. After washing your hair don’t forget to soak it with a clean towel. Exactly, soak, don’t rub your hair with a towel like crazy, you will damage it and see split ends very very soon!

Since I usually shampoo my hair every morning, I continued doing so with this shampoo since there weren’t any precautions against daily usage. I saw first results after the third shower. However, my hair was still far from being perfect. I thought it would take forever to bring the shine back, but the real results showed during the second week. It was such a relief.
I was able to comb it again without losing half of my hair to the comb, I started experimenting with different hairstyles again and could finally say good bye to a hair bun, which was hiding my split ends and dull dry hair all this time. Finally, my hair did not look like a bath sponge any more!

The way you wash your hair is also extremely important: make sure that the water is warm and never hot, because it will damage your hair and you will not get the desired effect from the shampoo.
Warm water opens the cuticles of our hair, letting the shampoo or any other product do its job. Apply shampoo to the scalp and don’t massage into the length and ends or you will dry them. Don’t worry, the ends will get cleaned once you start washing the shampoo off.
Wash it off thoroughly and gently. If you apply conditioner let it start working. Leave it on for about 5 minutes and rinse off gently, never apply a conditioner to the scalp, just the length. It is also very good to rinse your hair with very cold water after you are done washing it. This way the cuticles will close and all the particles you were trying to get into your hair so hard will actually remain inside and will continues nourishing your hair, besides, this technique adds more shine!
